SOUTHBRIDGE HOTEL

The Restoration of the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center has been awarded a Golden Trowel for excellence. The project was completed in 2001 by Grande Masonry of Providence, Rhode Island. The facade and central tower of the 100-year old former American Optical plant was retained, with an entirely new structure built within it, to meet the needs of a 21st century cnference center. Grande utilized Custom System 45 and Flexi-Fill 530 for repairs to sandstone and marble, both inside the tower and on the exterior.
