Petrographic Analysis- Binder Identification (ASTM C 1324)
Special Instructions
Please select options...

Independent, expert analysis of existing mortars, stucco, concrete and other masonry materials in accordance with ASTM C 1324 is the only objective way to distinguish between binder components such as lime, natural cement, hydraulic lime, slag cement, portland cement, masonry cement and other traditional and historic binders. This limited analysis provides positive identification of these components in mortar, concrete or stucco samples from your site. In many cases, this provides sufficient information on which to base a replication mix recommendation. Analysis is performed by an independent, third party petrographic lab, and their report will be provided along with our replication mix recommendations.
